The Boneyard is a vast desert landscape filled with thousands of decommissioned aircraft in permanent storage. Most will never fly again but a few have been brought back to life. Seen here is a Grumman Albatross flying boat that has been neglected for decades and was formerly used by the U.S. Air Force. This photo was taken during the production of the feature length film, FLYING BOAT which is about the handful of pilots and mechanics who have restored and fly the last remaining examples of this magnificent aircraft.
